Module 3: Web Animation

• Frame-by-frame & Tweening Animation
• Advanced animation using Mask, Motion Guide, Multiple timeline
• Animation Publishing and Embedded to HTML

Module 4: Server-side Programming

• Introduction to server-side programming
• Installation and Configuration of Apache, PHP and MySQL
• Basic PHP Syntax: Data Types, Variables
• PHP programming: If, Else and Elseif Conditional Statements
• PHP programming: Arrays, Function and Loop
• Introduction of Database Programming and MySQL

Module 5: Web Application Development

• Interactive Enquiry Forms
• Membership System
• Content Management System
• Payment Gateway Integration

Assessment Methods:

The overall contributions to the final results are 60% for Continuous Assessments and 40% for Final Assessment.

Certificate in Multimedia Web Design and Interactive Application Development will be awarded to those who have:

• Must be at least 50% or such higher passing mark for both Continuous Assessments and Final Assessment; AND
• Attended at least 70% of the total contact hours.

Admission Requirements:

Applicants should fulfil the following admission requirements:

• Completion of F.5 (under the HKCEE academic structure) or equivalent; OR
• Completion of Secondary 6 (under the HKDSE academic structure) or equivalent; OR
• Aged 18 or above at the time when the course commenced, plus working knowledge of Windows Operating System.
